Required Documents for Participation in the Competition
- a written application addressed to the Director for participation in the competition;
- a copy of an identity document;
- a completed personal record card (questionnaire) in the established form — download the questionnaire (DOCX, Ukrainian).
- a curriculum vitae;
- a copy of the employment record book, if available;
- copies of documents on higher education, advanced training, and military registration document for servicemembers or persons liable for military service;
- a list of the candidate's scientific publications in domestic and foreign, including international, peer-reviewed professional journals;
- written consent to personal data processing — download the consent form (DOCX, Ukrainian).
The list of scientific publications should include links to information resources and websites where the publications are available, or electronic copies of the candidate's scientific works. The list includes, in particular, publications in:
- scientific journals included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine;
- scientific publications of other countries;
- foreign or international publications indexed in international scientometric databases.
Candidates may provide additional information reflecting the results of their scientific activity:
- patents for inventions that have passed qualification examination;
- monographs or chapters in collective monographs;
- links to online scientific profiles.
Candidates employed by the S. P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine submit only an application for participation in the competition. If documents are submitted by email, they must be sent as scanned PDF files, with each document provided as a separate file.
If documents are sent by post, the submission date is the date indicated by the postmark. Documents submitted or sent after the expiry of the submission period are not considered and are not returned to the candidate.
The competition period is 30 calendar days from the date this announcement is published on the official website of the S. P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Applications and documents are accepted at: 3 P. Nesterova St., Kyiv, 03057, Ukraine, and by email atinst_mech@inmech.kyiv.ua.
The Institute does not provide housing to persons hired after competitive selection. The authorized person for clarifications regarding the competition procedure is Mykhailo F. Selivanov, Deputy Director for Research of the S. P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
