History and research profile
The Department of Stability of Processes was established in 1978. Its research is focused on methods for studying motion stability, dynamic systems with uncertain and fuzzy parameters, systems with fractional-type derivatives, and systems on time scales.
Main research areas
- Development of the method of Lyapunov matrix-valued functions for uncertain dynamic systems and systems with fuzzy parameter values.
- Control and stability theory of motion of systems with fractional-type derivatives of the state vector.
- Stability of systems on time scales.
- Method of Lyapunov functions in the theory of motion stability.
- Dynamics and stability of large-scale systems, including multi-rate systems.
- Stability of mechanical systems with delay and impulsive action.
- Stability of electric power systems.
