Scientific and Methodological Council

The Scientific and Methodological Council of the S.P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine coordinates methodological support for education and research training, issues related to the quality of the educational process, teacher rating procedures, selection of researchers for teaching activities, and preparation of documents connected with the implementation of the educational and research programme.

Main areas of activity

The Council supports methodological consistency in education and research training and promotes transparent procedures related to the quality of education and teaching staff.

Methodological support of the educational and research programme

Coordination of educational components, syllabi, working programmes, curricula and methodological materials.

Quality of the educational process

Participation in monitoring teaching quality, analysing survey results and taking stakeholder proposals into account.

Teacher rating procedures

Support for procedures used to rate the Institute’s research and teaching staff.

Selection of teaching staff

Methodological support for procedures related to selecting researchers for teaching activities.
