Research profile
The Department of Rheology conducts research in the mechanics of materials with time-dependent, nonlinear and structurally conditioned properties. Its work focuses on rheological models, mechanics of composite, nanocomposite and auxetic materials, and propagation of linear and nonlinear waves in materials.
Main research areas
- Modern problems of rheology.
- Macro-, micro- and nanomechanics of composite materials.
- Mechanics of auxetic materials.
- Linear and nonlinear waves in materials.
