The Council helps involve young scientists in active research work, supports professional contacts, and disseminates information on scientific events, grants, competitions, scholarships and opportunities for academic growth.
Institute structure
The Council of Young Scientists of the S.P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics of the NAS of Ukraine supports the professional development of early-career researchers, postgraduate students and PhD holders, and promotes their participation in the scientific, educational and organisational life of the Institute.

In its activity, the Council is guided by the current legislation of Ukraine, the Statutes of the NAS of Ukraine and of the Institute, resolutions and orders of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine, orders of the Director, decisions of the Academic Council, and the regulations governing councils of young scientists.
