Today we celebrate the 70th anniversary of an outstanding Ukrainian scientist in mechanics, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician-Secretary of the Department of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, our respected leader and Head of the Department of Computational Mechanics and Technology, Volodymyr M. Nazarenko.
Since 1978, his life has been firmly and inseparably connected with our Institute. Over these decades, he has followed an extraordinary professional path, becoming a laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, the M. Ostrogradsky Prize, and the O. Dynnyk Prize of the NAS of Ukraine.
He is an internationally recognized specialist in solid mechanics and a true driving force of progress, who successfully integrated our computational resources with the supercomputer of the V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the NAS of Ukraine.
