Dear colleagues,
Many of you knew and remember our colleague with a golden heart and golden hands — Ivan Ilarionovych Anikiev, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Senior Researcher of the Department of Dynamics and Stability of Continuous Media. He worked at the Institute for many years and passed away in 2019. However, not everyone is familiar with the history of his family, or with the fact that after the beginning of the full-scale enemy invasion of Ukraine, its members immediately stood up to defend the country, giving the dearest thing for our freedom.
Patriotic upbringing, the ability to love and defend one’s homeland, and the understanding that the fate of one’s family cannot be separated from the fate of one’s country — these values were passed down in the Anikiev family from generation to generation.
